BestPractice-IT short profile
BestPractice-IT is always concerned about the consistent implementation of information and communication technologies, especially in SMEs – independent of the sector and field of action, but always with the size of the enterprise in mind!
BestPractice-IT holds the opinion that nowadays, IT is – intelligently implemented – the key factor in maintaining lasting competitiveness of SMEs. For this reason, BestPractice-IT has identified with and communicated with enterprises for many years who have achieved this type of competitive advantage. This continuous dialog confirms to BestPractice-IT again and again, that there is a tremendous amount of Know-how in SMEs. BestPractice-IT sees it as its most important task to bring this knowledge “to the surface” and to process it accordingly. In this way, applicable and especially reproducible application examples are continuously emerging, which BestPractice-IT provides to all interested parties via its media channels.
“Technology deniers” have long since achieved an exotic status – even in SMEs. That is why BestPractice-IT can basically be used by all small and medium-sized enterprises as a qualitative information source. But above all, BestPractice-IT addresses those who confront information technology with more than an open mind – so those who wish to utilise the high innovation potential present in IT for themselves and for their enterprise without restrictions!
The BestPractice-IT Network: “It always takes two!”
Although the hundreds of approaches publicised by BestPractice-IT have portrayed a very optimistic picture in recent years, many deficits still prevail. That is why BestPractice-IT sees it as its task to sensibilise people to the consistent application of IT, also as a common desire between all relevant interest groups – from SMEs via the IT industry to politics and associations as well as amongst each other. Bestpractice-IT has conducted intensive dialog with the IT industry for many years, especially regarding the need for practice-oriented solutions and precisely to do with the demands for solutions tailored to SMEs. Bestpractice-IT swaps ideas regularly within politics in the broadest sense yet above all with associations, organisations or scientific facilities throughout Europe, developing common campaigns, supports projects and organises events – always “full-speed towards their goal”, meaning: for a future-oriented and competitive sector of small and medium-sized enterprises!
